It is a joyous occasion! The Studebaker Blorbo Society turns one year old!
It's been a pretty crazy year since we were first founded. When we first
started, progress was slow. Mostly it was just me begging friends to
fill out the Google Form sign-up sheet. After a long while, I remembered
that I had this, and decided to set up a Discord server so that we can
properly harbour a community. I posted it to Reddit, and that post got a
LOT more traction than I expected. From that post, the owner of r/Studebaker
joined (shout out Luther fr). That was a pretty big deal to at least myself.
Earlier this month when I realized we were coming up on a year of SBS, I asked
myself "now how the hell do we go up from here..?". My first thought was an
irl meeting like the SDC, but that's not very attainable for a club of our
size. My next thought was shirts and stuff, which is something I've set up
quite a few times. But of course, shirts aren't enough to mark an entire
YEAR of this project. I needed something grand but still financially
reasonable because I'm a 17 year old with not a lot of disposable income.
Then, it hit me: I CAN MAKE A ZINE THAT'S NOT VERY DIFFICULT!!!!!
